Madhura Shankar
Madhura Shankar’s illustrious career in education has been marked by a profound commitment to fostering learning environments that inspire both educators and students alike. Over the span of 15 years, her journey has evolved from the role of a dedicated classroom teacher to that of an Acting Assistant Principal.
Madhura’s career trajectory is characterised by a passion for teaching that transcends traditional boundaries. Her impact goes beyond the confines of a classroom, extending into coaching fellow teachers at various schools. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in modeling best practices in literacy and numeracy, contributing significantly to the improvement of teaching methodologies and, consequently, student learning outcomes.
As an Acting Assistant Principal, Madhura has demonstrated leadership acumen and an unwavering commitment to educational excellence. Her influence reaches not only students and teachers within her school but also resonates across the broader educational landscape.
In addition to her role within the school, Madhura actively engages in coaching initiatives for childcare centers, parents, and Montessoris. Recognising the pivotal role of parenting in a child’s early development, she extends her coaching expertise to support parents in navigating the complexities of raising informed and inspired children. Her coaching also encompasses the realm of phonics in early childhood education, emphasising the broader importance of leadership in shaping educational environments. Through her coaching, she aspires to instill a passion for effective communication and learning from the very foundation of a child’s educational journey.
Madhura’s aim is not only to enrich the academic experiences of students but also to empower educators and parents with the skills and mindset necessary for impactful teaching, parenting, and leadership.
